I went with my husband to his appointment and we saw em this Dr instead of his PCP who was out. My husband knows his own body and thought he had pneumonia. He stated this and the Doctor EVENTUALLY gave him an exam very Reluctantly. After briefly listening to his lungs she said "you don't have pneumonia you have a virus" right before this she entered the room and without really knowing us told my husband " your oxygen level is pretty low...you need to go to the ED. You can die tonight!!". After a bit we left with a order for an X-ray and an antibiotic. Guess what?? My husband had bacterial pneumonia!! Avoid her if you can until she learns a better bedside manner. Smart lady but still...

I was a patient of Dr. Hursey for approximately a year, after being transferred to her care when my primary doctor left the practice. I had been with the practice for more than 7 years at that time. Her care was disinterested at best. She refused to order a blood test that I requested, though we were already doing other blood tests and it would not have changed the order. When I asked for clarification on her refusal, she simply stated that 'she didn't order that test' and said that if I wanted it done, I needed to make an appointment with a different doctor and they would order it. I left the practice after her behavior during an appointment clearly indicated that she either had 1. never reviewed my medical history or 2. had reviewed it and didn't care. Both options are unacceptable from

Terrible customer service, refuses to treat patients and/or call them back or speak to their patients.
