Qusai Hammouri Spine Surgery

I live in Schenectady, NY and I was unable to find a doctor that would help me with my scoliosis in the area. If I couldn’t find help, I’d be in a wheelchair in the near future. Finally I found a doctor at OrthoNY that referred me to NYU Langone in New York City. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Hammouri, who took part of my insurance, Medicaid. On March 25th we had an appointment with Dr. Hammouri , my sister and I took the three hour trip to NYC, and met my brother, who lives down there. My first impression was that of a very knowledgeable and kind man. We sat there, my sister, brother, and myself asking questions, listening to options, what surgery to straighten my back would entail. Dr. Hammouri treated my 3 year old son for a tibia fracture. His fun and easy going disposition is so great with children and parents alike! He asked my son to choose the color of his cast cover which made me son so happy, and he even cut out the cutest heart shapes for his cast as a special touch. Dr. Hammouri is a great communicator and he and his colleague Lisa made application quick and easy while entertaining my son. The office staff were friendly and efficient at check in. The office is very clean and modern with toys for kids to play with and small touches for children, like colorful exam table paper with characters that make the exam table look friendly. Thank you for quality care and an excellent experience. I’d definitely recommend this physician and his practice.

We love Dr. Hammouri!!!!!! He is not only an excellent surgeon but also a wonderful caring man! This past October Dr. hammouri performed my daughters scoliosis surgery, and she is doing excellent and healing well. My daughter absolutely loves him and I am so grateful!!!!Cathy is top notch, the best!!! Cathy handled everything for me from making all our appointments with specialists and dealing with my insurance company. The rest of his staff and team are the best there is! It was a very scary decision to have this surgery done and I am blessed to have found Dr. Hammouri!!!
