Pulse-MD Urgent Care

The Medical Assistant and Doctor were outstanding! The problem was the lady behind the desk doing the intake. She lacks empathy, care, and compassion. The majority of people dont want to go to the Urgent Care. It takes a half second to smile and make a human feel comfortable and know they are about to receive excellent care. I wanted to take my son to another facility but stayed because he was really under the weather (Flu). I wish more people would just be nice.Id go back but would avoid the lady at the front desk. Again, the Doctor and Medical assistant were phenomenal. The forward facing person was the issue.

I would HIGHLY recommend! From the organized, professional front desk receptionist to the MA to the PA, I had nothing but a positive experience. I was so sick and didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room tho there were some people ahead of me. Once I was called in I was immediately helped by the medical assistant and before she was even done, the Physicians Assistant came in. They were extremely professional, took their time to listen and explained medications being prescribed and how to use them. I did not feel like I was in a factory and I felt like all my concerns weee addressed. Hopefully I won’t need an urgent care again but if I do, that’s where I will go.

Quick and efficient service! Especially after completing check in paperwork online. Myrline at the front desk was awesome! Nurse Enmay took very good care of me along with NP Brenda.

I was billed in error. I spoke to my insurance carrier. I put my insurance carrier on speaker phone. The intake female stated in a nasty tone " I'm not speaking to no one". And provided me with billing # for a bill readjustment. No one picks up the phone at the # provided. I 've left several messages and no one calls back. If I wouldn't have paid I would not have been seen by a Dr. All I'm asking for is for billing to check with my insurance carrier to confirm.

Let me just say this place is a mess. I was at Pulse MD in Briarcliff Manor yesterday, and while the front desk lady stepped out for her break (which she announced), some random woman came in and decided to cause a whole scene. She was cursing, loud, and reckless in front of her own kid and everyone else waiting. Totally out of pocket. It got so bad sitting there listening to her that a few of us, myself included, just left. Like, who wants to sit through all that in a doctor’s office? I felt bad for the lady in the front because all she was doing was her job and going on break. (PSA Close your stores during breaks to prevent a situation like this from happening maybe?)
