Publix Pharmacy at Village Shoppes of Gainesville

They’ll treat you different if you use good RX. The price for my medicine came up $3 higher than the good rx price and she said the price was different from the “screenshot” I showed her. I had the Good Rx app opened. She ASSUMED it was a screenshot and I wasn’t even complaining about the money difference of $3. Needs better customer service!!

I really love this pharmacy, but I tried to refill a script from the app a week ago and the app said they needed to contact my doctor. I checked just now and all the scripts were gone from the app, so I called the pharmacy to see what happened. They told me the script was expired so they removed them from the system. They should’ve called me and told me that as soon as there was an issue, now I’m out of medication and can’t get an appointment at my doctor for a while to get a new script. Until my doctor can fit me in I’m going to have to go without my seizure rescue medication. Not sure what to do now, to be honest.

They have gone downhill the past couple of months. Originally, their staff was very on top of filling meds, insurance info, etc. Now it is a struggle to get anything filled or change any info. They will tell you meds are ready when they are not and have you wait 30 minutes to get them. For example: I had a prescription sent for me a day ago, and was notified my "medications" we're ready today. When I got there only 1 was ready and I had to wait 30 minutes before the one I needed was filled. Going on 2 days and they still didn't have it ready. There staff is no longer pleasant to talk to and if you need to change anything, it is a hassle for them and it probably won't get done.

They have decided to have many of their prescriptions filled elsewhere and then shipped to this location. You can expect your prescriptions not to be filled in a timely manner anymore. Half the time I go to pick up my medications and only to find it may be a couple more days....worse is that they don't seem to care! Time to find a customer driven pharmacy!

I absolutely love coming to this Publix until today, I am disabled and require a service dog. I ran in to the store to grab a few items with my dog. Mind you I've been coming here for years and everyone knows my dog. Well his vest broke out in the parking lot and all I had for him was his service dog identification card and a leash. I was stopped at the front door by a lady I've never seen before and was asked in the most rudest voice to leave until I could get his vest on. She didn't ask for his id or anything just escorted me out of the store. I went to the car, got my dogs vest and he had to wear the broken vest around the store. I wish people knew the Georgia laws before acting so rudely to people with disabilities.
