Publix Pharmacy at Scottsboro

The store part is great but can someone please explain why only this Pharmacy doesn't go by the "28 day rule on controlled substances"? Why do they make you wait for 29 and sometimes 30 days to fill a controlled substance? I called 5 local/chain pharmacies and I was told it had to be at least "28 days". I completely understand that but for some of us who work long hrs, have a family ext sometimes can drop everything and go get some medicine

My meds got lost in the mail and I was completely out! My doctor called in some to get by, but Publix was out of the medication. I was in a panic, new to the area, not knowing of any other pharmacies or what to do. Miss Erica went above and beyond and found me the medication and was even able to get a coupon transferred for me!! At one point I told her I would just “wing it” and she wasn’t gonna let that happen! She worked it all out and I didn’t miss any meds! Thank you!

NEW PHARMACIST. She wasn't mean but had a rude attitude. I have never had a complaint until today. I was continually given incorrect merchandise, when I called her attention to the fact her response was " maybe you should go somewhere else next time then" Also I had to ask her twice to return my debit card. She had placed it out of view.

I took my prescriptions to get filled. The blonde with the heavy makeup was very rude. I guess I shouldn't bother her while she plays with her hair. Very sad one rude person has ruin it. I never have been spoke to like that as a customer someplace. Never going back. Took prescriptions to CVS.

Some of the staff are nice and polite. The ones that call are not. Had a partial prescription filled and didn't pay yet, which is fine. Pharmacy called and told us the remainder of the prescription was ready. Didn't need it right away, told the pharmacy that. They got very irritated and accused us of trying to not pay for medication. I don't appreciate being talked to like that. Also, exceptionally long wait times, but that's everywhere in every pharmacy. Wish they'd actually tell you how long the wait is though. Being told "another 30 minutes" 4 times is a bit much.
