Publix Pharmacy at Miller Road Shopping Center

In the past, I have loved Publix and their pharmacy. I live 1 block from my Publix which I have faithfully shaped at since 1979. However, I will no longer be using the pharmacy because of their policy of sending out prescriptions from Orlando to Miami. I first found out about this when I needed a refill prescription filled the same day and was told I would have to wait until the next day after 3 pm. When I insisted that I needed it, then I was told that yes they actually could fill it right away but that was not the policy of HOW they were supposed to do it. Because of that, this time I used the automated phone system to call in a refill a couple of days early . I actually did not get to the store until Saturday for the prescription that should have been ready on Thursday. Then I was told

Rosa took care of my baby son’s antibiotic so quickly. She also took time to counsel me on the medication. I had so many bad experiences with the Publix Pharmacy on Bird, I’m so glad I switched.

Greatest team at the pharmacy! Their is never a line and the pharmacist Juan takes the time to teach you and actually help his customers... Juan and Alina are a really good team... wish all Publix pharmacies acted this way.
