Publix Pharmacy at Indialantic

So normally I let it go but this was the last straw over 1 year which is equaling 30 times to this Pharmacy. I think they got my prescription right maybe twice. I am going through stage 4 cancer and the Dengue virus and C diff virus and a hernia and these people have zero courtesy for when someone is hurt and they continued to always mess up or never have my prescription on time. There was two times where my prescription was ready and was called in but yet I went there four times to pick it up and they said that it was not available. I go back the next day to speak with a different person and they looked deep and simply found that my prescription was sitting there waiting and I suffered for over 35 days because of them. This last time I just went in I am trying to get my anxiety medication

An excellent pharmacy for our small community! All the pharmacists are friendly and personable. They almost always fill my family’s prescriptions quickly and pick up is fast and easy.

A family member of mine recently came in to pick up a pain medicine prescription for a recent kidney donor surgery. The pharmacy told him it would be ready in 30 minutes, so he waited. Once 30 minutes came, they told him all of their pain meds were expired. They then QUESTIONED him about what he needed it for. When he said that he just donated a kidney, they proceeded to tell him he shouldn’t need pain medicine if the surgery was a few days ago. So, they made him wait in pain, and delayed his opportunity to get the meds from another pharmacy, which he did without issue. There is a national database with information on how many times someone has had a pain medicine prescription prescription. If you bothered to look at it, it would have showed you they do not abuse prescription medications.

There's no substitute for a great relationship with your local pharmacy staff. This Publix pharmacy should get the highest marks, store #1688. As a result of being in the hospital last year, the need for regular medication and now a total hip replacement surgery , I cannot express more and more how the team of the pharmacy manager Chris, Cas and the pharmacy tech Debbie do such an amazing job. They work very very hard to make sure things are right and then they can provide the best possible service to the people that they work for in providing necessary medication and the knowledge they share to help people understand those types of medications . They are the rock stars in our local community and thank you all for your patience and your help in every way every single day. Matt
