Surfside Urgent Care

Surfside Urgent Care is a cornerstone of the community. We've been coming here for over 10 years and have received top-quality care every time. They are thorough, never rush, and truly listen to your concerns instead of just prescribing something to move you along. Liz is amazing—she explains everything in a way that's easy to understand, without overwhelming medical jargon. All the doctors here do the same, making the experience much more comfortable and helpful. They have two separate areas—one for sick patients and one for well patients—which is fantastic. No one wants to sit next to someone coughing up a storm when they're just there for a routine visit.

I just stopped at this urgent care because it is the closest to my home. I have had a sinus infection for four days, but the nurse practitioner will not give antibiotics which I have been taking for like 40 years, probably once a year, for my annual sinus infection. Instead, she wants to give me prednisone, which makes me suicidal. She said antibiotics will not help me and it’s very bad for me. She wants to give me paperwork about how bad antibiotics are but obviously not understanding after reiterating the prednisone makes me suicidal. In the end she gave me nothing charged me $30 wouldn’t give me my money back and says I was seen by a medical professional!! Hmm! Left a message for Dr to call tomorrow. Will update again then. A huge thank you to Esther and team for taking care of my running injury. I'm from the other side of Florida and had a nasty fall while running. Google Maps showed Surfside as the closest Urgent Care to my location, and they treated me well and quickly. From the receptionist who welcomed me with a smile, to Esther who treated me with gentle and thorough care, to the doctor who checked to make sure I didn't have any broken bones. First time I've ever had to seek medical attention while out of town, and though I was more than a bit nervous about what the process would be like, I was quickly set at ease upon entering the facility. Thank you all.

Worst urgent care you could possibly go to. They rushed my appointment. I mentioned three symptoms to the nurse before she cut me off and said “let me grab the provider”. Did not listen to a word I said.. Had two labs done. When a doctor called me back, he only brought up one and said “well it’s negative so that’s that”. I had to ask him multiple times about the other one in which he missed. I told him my symptoms and how they worsened in which he said “oh wow” and that was that! Asked them to send me a copy of my chart in which I had to call them back because my charts were completely wrong like it was a completely different patient. They Tried to tell me I didn’t tell them any of my symptoms even though they gave me a form to fill out with 32 questions on it. I even stated to them that I

I'm really torn on how I want to phrase this. I was really surprised by the amount of lgbtq and 🌈 stuff they had at their medical facility saying all are welcome. I found it very inappropriate for a medical facility, they should be accepting of all people in need of medical care and not advertise it as such. It is my understanding that the owner of this facility is supportive of of this group but it is not necessary for that to be advertised. Having said that staff and care was great and the facility was very clean.
