Our family will never set foot in a Publix again My physician sent a prescription electronically, it was for a controlled substance. We were told the prescription would be ready in a week. 8 days later, my wife goes to the pharmacy to pick up my medication and is told by the associate that they do not carry that medication. My wife shows the prescription and how they accepted the prescription. She then ask the associate, why would you accept a prescription for something you don't carry a tell us to pick it up on a specific date. I've used this pharmacy for years but their customer service is horrendous. They constantly don't have medication and never communicate it to me so I have to reach out to check the status and have to reach out to my physician and/or insurance when needed because they aren't proactive at all! I'm pulling my prescriptions from here as every month there's a difference issue and they also refuse to give me 90 days worth of my medication even though that's what my physician put on the prescription.

First and foremost, there is a significant communication barrier with some of the staff, which poses a serious issue when dealing with important matters like prescription medications. Clear and effective communication in English is essential—especially when patients rely on these medications for their daily well-being. In addition, I’ve encountered multiple instances where prescriptions were not processed because the pharmacy did not carry a specific brand.
