Publix Pharmacy at Cornerstone at Stuart

This Publix Pharmacy needs training in customer service; especially Sky. When I asked her what I was signing for she said “you can read it”. I thought I misunderstood what she said, after she rang me up I asked her “what did you say” and she repeated “you can read what you’re signing for” and rolled her eyes. When I read what I was signing for, it said something along the lines of the pharmacy rep has explained the medication to me… that did not happen. There was no explanation whatsoever. Most pharmacies give a brief explanation along the lines of how to store the medication and/or ask “do you have any questions”. Not this one. This client experience comes straight from the top; when I called to see if my prescription was ready one Sunday afternoons at 5pm, the response I got was

I was quoted 30 mins for 3 tabs of flagyl for my puppy. Shopped around and even sat in my vehicle for a total of 40 mins. When I returned I was quoted an additional 20 mins “because we’re really slammed”. I drove out of the parking lot and not even 5 mins down the road I receive a text that it’s ready. A little game I feel like I’m playing. Making a U-turn on federal now.

They should hire people who have the minimum manners. If they don’t have customer service skills at least they should be educated enough to say “your welcome” and “have a good day” and look at the customer who is speaking to them, instead of looking away and laughing with the coworker while serving the customer, and having a bad attitude overall. Despite the fact that it’s rude to act like that (the blonde girl with the nose hoop piercing- don’t know her name) I still said thank you at the end and she did not even say a word back to me. Wow. I mean is that really that much to expect from someone who went to school to supposedly “help” other people? You can have a bad day but you cannot be disrespectful like that. My son is on a medication that is part of a shortage right now. I have been playing musical pharmacies for the last few months trying to find it. I started at Publix Town Center, then had to go to Walmart for a couple of refills and then they were out also. When I called Town Center again they told me to call this store because it showed they had some of the medication. I was so pleasantly surprised when they told me they could fill it. When I came to pick it up, they had 90 days of medication for me. That makes my life so much less stressful and I really appreciated the forethought and kindness they showed me. They also have a drive up window which is nice for people just picking up prescriptions. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.
