Publix Pharmacy at Albany Square

I went to pick up a prescription which had been called in, arrived 7:45 pm; bone tired from the day and suffering from spring time allergies. I stood at the counter came on up bc there was no line at counter. I stood there while the pharmacists on duty and a technician,were looking at a computer only 4 feet away from me. Neither acknowledged me as a customer. About 2 minutes passed and the tech moved away from the computer, not towards me, but the other direction. Thereafter, she was idol. 2 other workers, near the location she had assumed, continued what they were doing as she approached them. Another couple minutes passed. None of the 4 ppl working in Publix pharmacy said, “may I help you, …be with you in a moment, …have you been helped, …Poor customer service to say the least. Should I

Worst experience ever so far in picking up my prescription. Nothing will ever be ready no matter when it was sent it. Attitude issues with the ones behind the phone. Don’t know if they have specific manger for this section. But the last thing we need is mixed up medications and attitude problems from personable working there. Prescriptions sent in Days and days in advance are also not ready citing reasons only God can comprehend. We need another pharmacy

The wait to have prescriptions filled is ridiculously long. They don't fill a prescription until you show up and ask for it. Then it will be a 45 min to hour wait, even though they say 30 min everytime. And if you wait for you prescription to be filled without showing up, it will be DAYS before they fill. Sometimes a week. Please go elsewhere if you don't want an added medication for the stress of having to continuously be in agonizing pain and despair having to wait a week for these techs to put 30 pills in a bottle.

Doctor sent in prescriptions a little before noon, we left the doctor's office a little after. We went straight to Publix. The lady told us that it would be an hour. So we grocery shopped for an hour. Went back. It's going to be another hour. We went in Hobby Lobby, Petsmart, GameSpot, Target. Went back 15 after 2, over an hour later. Guess what? It's going to be another 30-45 minutes. ARE YOU SERIOUS??? Maybe, just maybe, if they stopped talking about what all they did over the weekend and actually counted pills, perhaps my boyfriend wouldn't be so uncomfortable with a back issue, sitting in the truck, waiting, for his meds. We don't live in Albany. We can't just shoot home then back, so we are stuck here until they can do their damn job. Trust me when I say NEVER AGAIN.

Its always a wait to get prescriptions even after being notified that theyre ready for pickup. I received the notification today that it was ready, i called to make sure it actually was and was told that they were currently working on it and it would be another 15-20 minutes until ready. It took me 20-25 minutes to get there because i had to make another stop across town first. Get there and am told its still not ready, that it'll be another 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes at the pharmacy before they finally got it ready. I understand that they are busy, but dont say that a prescription is ready and then make them wait forever for it to actually be ready. My family will be switching to a different pharmacy after this.
