Publix Pharmacy at 18Biscayne Shopping Center

Yes Staff is nice. Always check RX received , if the color of pill is different than usual bring back to Publix. Last week I picked up a Rx Refill always Pink… Rx refill received was white. The ( head pharmacist ) accused me of pouring the pills into a different bottle! I borrowed a pen and wrote correct name on bottle. I feel he should have printed out a corrected label. He gave me correct pink pill refill ⚠️

This is my local pharmacy where I get my medications. Generally, the staff is friendly. There's a young woman who doesn't speak Spanish, but she tries her best and is very professional and helpful. On the other hand, the man of Asian descent is sometimes abrupt in his manner. You feel like he's annoyed when you ask him questions. Honestly, I feel more comfortable when I'm served by someone else. I was there yesterday to pick up two prescriptions. I greeted him and wished him a happy new year, and silence was the only response. Not a word.

I went this afternoon to safely dispose of a used injection pen and was told by the two people behind the counter that they could not take them to dispose of them, even though there was a disposal container in plain sight behind them. On top of that, one of them told me that the pens could be placed in the regular trash. Every source I have found states this is the absolute incorrect way to dispose of the pens, including the box they came in. I’m not an expert but this feels like a huge mis-guidance.

They did not fill my prescription on time, told me to come back tomorrow. I came back the next day, picked up my prescription, walked all the way home to find my prescription bag empty. I walked all the way back and they are claiming that I lost it, threw it away, or am claiming its lost so I can get more. Its allergy medicine. Do not come to this pharmacy unless you absolutely have to, they are lazy and dont know how to do their jobs

The bar is low for grocery store pharmacies but this one was both incompetent and rude. The Miami combo! Brianna was discourteous on the phone, I’m disabled and was en route to a flight and despite calling three times over the last two days and showing up at the time they requested with the documents I needed, she shamed me (in front of staff and several customers) for telling her I was wheelchair-bound and that her failure to have my Rx prepared as she promised several times on the phone was my fault. Would avoid if you can.
