My mother-n-law was at Grandview a few days for rehab. I have had some experience with nursing homes over the years and I have to say this is the worst experience I have had. With the exception of one nurse who was incredible, caring and patient, there are many issues that need to be addressed at Grandview. I had a bad feeling when I first walked in due to the upkeep of the facility, but thought that if the care was good, we could overlook the building. My mother-n-law’s call light was ignored for hours. She would have the yell for help for someone to come to her aid, particularly at night with the night shift staff. My mom came here for rehab., the rehab group was amazing and always seem to care. The facility was always clean and smell good. Management was always nice and especially the case worker Joan . The only thing I saw that could use some attention was the time of matter call lights were answered. Hope to never return but if so I will use them again and recommend it for anyone.

Food needs a lot of work, my mom would not eat the food ,the residents need to have food that you would eat at home with your family, some of the workers are not nice to the residents at all , I have heard the nurse several times yelling at residents to pick things up after she accidentally dropped a medicine cup ,I heard her yelling at a woman so loud fussing with her over something,I have worked at a nursing home before no one has the right to yell or treat anyone like these people are treated if you dnt want your family treated like that you should not treat them like that , my mom has pushed her button and no one comes we the family have called up there several times it took them a very long time just to answer her button, not all the nurses are bad some are very good people and treat

The customer service at Grandview was beyond my expectations, lots of diversity “very important” the entire staff was very knowledgeable and professional. The facility was very bright n clean no nursing home smell when you enter the building. Huge thanks to Ms. Bloom and the staff for going the extra mile to accommodate my schedule. Thanks again for making my dad feel welcome.

The leadership team at Grandview is GREAT. Sabrina has put together a very solid team. Communication and room cleanliness are above expectations. My mother is very well takes care of and enjoys the environment. The activities could stand some improvement and upgrade but overall I am very pleased and happy with my decision to place my mother’s care in the teams hands. Thanks. Keep up the good work
