My mom stayed here for respite care. Very nice clean place. The staff was very attentive assuring that she was comfortable and well taken care of. I would highly recommend. We also received a follow up phone call from Sarah Greener just making sure that mom made it home safe. Thank you Sarah for caring. You are awesome

I would like to thank the entire staff at PruittHealth Fleming Island for the great care they provided my father while he was a patient after a fall. From the front desk crew to the entire rehab, nursing and medical team, the care and compassion he received was exceptional. As a physician, I set a very high bar on what I expect and they consistently impressed me. Thanks to all! It put my mind at ease while Dad was with all of you.

Cathy Hester is the Activities Director and does an absolutely PHENOMENAL job with the residents! She is creative, engaging and seems to always have something fun to do! The residents love her and look forward to the daily activities. It is obvious how much she loves and cares for each and every resident there and she’s never without a smile or a kind sentiment. Cathy makes a positive difference in their lives and Pruitt is blessed to have her on the staff.

My mother was transferred to Pruitt Health in Fleming Island for rehab after a hip fracture. Although the place is beautiful, the care is terrible. I found my mother naked in her bed alone on one occasion. She was left with meals out of her reach and no one around to feed her on several occasions. I witnessed patients begging for a nurse, but no nurses around.. My mother was not mobile due to her fracture, if i didn't get there to visit, she was stuck in her room the entire day and only gotten up out of bed for some meals if a nurse or aid had time..She was at Pruitt for about two months and they never once gave her a shower.. I frequently found her wet and soiled when I arrived for a visit.. They reported to us that she had another fall there, but kept giving us different stories on ho

My mother in law came to Pruitt Rehab after a fall and everyone from the front desk to the housekeeper was so great to work with. The rehab team, OT PT, got her back up and moving like herself before she was discharged. Very clean rooms and common areas. She even said the food was great. Hope we do t need to come back but if we do Pruitt is the right choice.
