The new provider they brought in has terrible bedside manners. I went in super sick and she barely looked at me didn’t even look away from her computer. I went back a second time in hopes it would be a better experience. They made me wait an hour and 15 minutes after my appointment time, charged me a copay to come in and tell me they don’t have my results and won’t send them to me.

I am a self pay patient and had my initial appointment last week. I saw the new doctor- Mark K. Who said it was his first week. He was very nice and it felt like I was talking to an old friend, however I went in for dizziness and my ears were not looked at. He said he would give me a prescription for dizziness and a refill of my thyroid medication, neither of which has been called in after 6 days. I would have thought at least the medication for the dizziness would have been made a priority. Being self pay I cannot afford to come in monthly, he assured me that my routine refills would not require a follow up visit to be done that often. I really hope this is true given some of the other reviews I have seen. Overall I felt the practice looked very outdated but i wanted to give it a chance.

I like Heather Tyson. At least it seems like she cares some, but that Dr. May - didn't care for her at all. I thought a therapist was someone you could talk through things with? My bad, I guess it's just someone to write you a script real quick to get you out the door before 5. IDK what to think about that. Maybe she was having an off day or maybe she's not an actual therapist? 🤷‍♀️ I haven't met the new Dr. Mark yet so I can't give my opinion on him but I do like the staff. Rhonda has always been nice when I call. Unfortunately, I don't recall the other 2 girls' names, but they have been personable and friendly, which is always nice.

I'm moving on...have been a patient here for several years and the latest experience will be my last. Called to schedule an annual checkup with my Doctor who of course is no longer there. Since Dr. Leslie retired I don't think I've seen the same provider twice. I also go to a rheumatologist every 6 months and like to coordinate lab work as 2/3 of the tests are usually the same. Its also more a more productive visit if the lab results are in at the time of the appt. Soooo called to make the appt and ask for a lab slip for my appt at Quest at the end of August. Scheduler at PHC explained that she wouldn't be able to help with that which I understand. I then asked for whoever I was being assigned to to review my records so that the routine labwork could be ordered (I already had a slip for C

I’ve been a client of PHC for about 6 years and have always received top notch treatment by everyone there.
