Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital Outpatient Surgery

Prisma continues to live up to their reputation. To bad their reputation is garbage. A simple day procedure and there was almost zero communication. We had no idea what was happening, what was next and what we were waiting on. People were friendly enough, just would rather joke around than communicate.

I am post op one week from a total knee replacement. The day surgery staff and post op staff that worked with me were amazing. I wish I remembered their names. Once I got to my room I had a different set of staff. My nurses. Madison Rebecca and Loren did exceptional jobs. The cna’s were very nice. I also wish I remembered their names. I just really want them to be recognized for the great job they did.

I would not recommend. Took my 1.5 year old daughter for tubes. They gave her a loopy medicine and then we waited so long for her to be taken back that the medicine had worn off and she was screaming when I left her with the doctors. 20 mins later she was done, and we walked back and she was SCREAMing so loud we could hear it the whole way back. I had been told by multiple people she would not be woken up until I was there. Yet they woke her up before and she was being held by strangers and screaming. They also tried to tell my husband and I how to care for her ears and all, while she was screaming bloody murder. The highlight was this wonderful young lady that came in and played with my daughter while we waited for her surgery. She was so kind and caring! I was so grateful to not be

My glowing review disappeared so here I go again. From the covid temperature taker and the security guard to the receptionist and the surgeon excellent excellent. Probably interacted with 15 staff respectful courteous concerned caring. This was not my first rodeo but this staff went above and beyond. Kudos. THANK YOU TOUMEY DAY SURGERY.
