Prisma Health Pediatric Gastroenterology–Columbia

My daughter’s pediatrician called in an urgent GI consult on a Monday morning. I was called later that afternoon to schedule an appointment and in the office by Tuesday afternoon. Short wait time in the office before getting called back. The staff were friendly and prompt. Dr Cory Jones listened to our history and asked questions from beginning to end. I truly felt heard. He then did a thorough examination and we discussed my concerns and plan going forward. Then what Dr Jones did next truly amazed me and showed me how compassionate he is about his work. He explained that as a mammal it is my maternal instinct to feed my baby and worry when something is going wrong. Worst practice ever. Took my daughter in on October 28th for severe abdominal pain and random vomiting. They ran a lot of test and as of today November 10th I have not heard a word back from them. Thanks to my chart I know that some of her test came back abnormal. I have been trying to reach them by phone and messages through my chart with no success. My daughter’s condition is getting worse. I am seeking another doctor immediately! Save yourself trouble and seek another pediatric gastroenterologist practice.

Always get here 10mins early and they never call us back on time it’s always over an hour late if not more! They have to do better! Or start scheduling appointments further apart!!!!

Nobody ever answers the phones or returns calls- to say this is VERY unprofessional is being nice. I received a call to set up an appointment for my daughter. The lady stated that I would receive an email and text with said information. I never received anything. I tried to call several times, even tried different extensions. NO ANSWER....NO RETURN CALL! But let me miss this appointment and its my fault. Y'all need to do better or hire people that will actually do their job.
