From the moment I called to the appointment, the staff was 10/10 STARS! These are some of the best doctors in Columbia for bedside manner, education, and thoughtfulness. From the front desk lady Angela for getting me seen quickly when I was a new patient, to the NP for Dr.Rupp, and Dr.Rupp herself… this team goes above and beyond. They will literally hold your hand every step of the way. I’m very fortunate to have found this team, and feel at ease to be in their care. It’s not everyday in today’s world you find a group of caring doctors that care for your individual needs with quick communication as well. Thank you to the whole practice for easing my mind and nerves!

I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time. When Dr. Rupp finally saw me, she had already decided on a diagnosis without ordering any diagnostic imaging to rule out structural problems. I reported severe urinary retention (documented 1 liter on bladder scan), obstructive defecation, and positional symptoms that worsen when upright. I requested a defecating proctogram to evaluate for internal rectal prolapse - a well-documented condition that does not always present with external tissue protrusion. Dr. Rupp stated that unless tissue is "coming out," there is no prolapse. She refused the test and did not perform an examination in the position where I experience symptoms (upright/bearing down), only while lying on my side. She was only willing to do a rectal exam and ignored
