Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital

I was transferred from North Greenville Hospital in Travelers Rest, SC on Thursday to this hospital for gallbladder surgery on Friday. The nurses, doctors, anesthesia doctor, janitor were all very kind and sweet and knowledgeable. Everyone made me feel at ease during the whole process. They took great care of me. I definitely recommend this hospital.

Outpatient surgery Nurse Holiday was amazing from start to finish! She treated me like a family member! Dr Bartz was amazing. Anesthesia team was wonderful! Recovery nurse was also good! Start to finish headed on home in 4hrs. Also employee at the very front as you first check into hospital said she would pray my surgery went well which meant a lot!

My family member is currently still in this place. He has been in this hospital for about a month and during this time he has acquired HORRIBLE bed sores. Most staff are rude and unprofessional. The 7p-7a nurse SUSAN is VERY rude, she told my family during a disagreement "what you gonna do call your sister again and tell them we are mistreating you ", which should let you know that inadequate care is happening. I am a nurse also and deal with difficult pts on a daily but i never speak to them in that manner. The call lights go unanswered for hours even tho nurse to pt ratio is low. Amputation has occurred so far abt tx is being given with elevated temps. Abt tx was altered we were told his WBC'S were trending down and everything looks better. An hr later another dr came in room and stated

After spending two days here recently for a stomach issue I have to applaud the staff here, such great service and care they showed me and gave me every option to avoid surgery if we didn’t have to. The beds are comfortable and updated, the rooms and hallways are super clean! Even the cafe has some of the best quality and SEASONED food you’d ever expect to see in a hospital, seriously go give it a try if you think I’m embellishing. All in all as much as I hope I never have to come back at least if I do I’ll know I’m in great hands every step of the way!

I went here for echocardiogram. I was already nervous about going. When the nurse came out and he called me back he treated My Husband and I horribly he would not let me speak. He kept over talking me. He would not answer my questions or concerns. He told me he was running behind And refused to listen to me. (my cardiologist told me I was having one test done and when I got to the hospital, they told me I was having another procedure done? Which is a big deal to me I felt like they had received the wrong instructions On what test My cardiologist ordered) The doctor and the other nurse that did the stress test were very nice and very helpful, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole experience and the first nurse did that for me. I will never go back to this hospital!
