Priority Urgent Care Chicopee, MA

Actually the place was wonderful. I walked in about 6:15ish pm. Nobody was in the waiting room. I checked right in, filled out one form and signed another. Waited less than 5 minutes and I was called in. Nurse saw me right away then a PA came in and examined me. He treated the issue I had. Gave me my discharge instructions and I was gone. I was out inside of 15 minutes and I feel I was given the attention I expected. Highly recommend this place.

Top tier in mannerisms from the time I walked in the door to my exit. Everyone was very polite and kind. My actual first name is not very common and can sometimes be hard to figure out how to pronounce. To make it a point to want to correct yourself, to me it also shows a certain level of respect. I don't even get this type of respect from the school officials that I encounter for more time then I do someone at urgent Care. I found that very commendable just for my quick visit. Very fast with appointment. Everything went great, except for needing prior authorization for medication, they do not do prior authorization. So some medication was not filled. Therefore I have to go to my regular doctor on Monday. I did get enough of other medicine that was approved by insurance, and able to feel better. So still a win!

I had been to that location when it was owned by a different company. I was hesitant to go back based on past experience. From the moment I walked in it was a different experience. I booked an appointment online so check in was easy. The biggest improvement was the wait time. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only hiccup was there seemed to have been a community mix up with me getting an x ray and the provider not being sure if I was the patient she was supposed to attend to. She was wonderful, caring, listened to my symptoms and gave me invaluable advice. Her course of treatment was aligned with what my own pulmonologist does. Let me say , read this before you go here . This has to be one of the most unprofessional and rudest clinics I've visited . At first it was welcoming in the waiting room once I was inside and the doctor seen me , he was very very rude . Talks over you barely lets you say whats going on , let alone explain anything . He didn't check any of the complaints I had , my back , my head , and even my arm . Then got frustrated when I was trying to explain to him what was going on. The response i got back was just take Tylenol and proceeded to leave the door open for me to walk myself out . As if that was not bad enough i ended up calling again and on a further note , proceeded to get attitude after attitude , and utter rudeness for asking for a school note for my daughter .
