Primary Health Medical Group Nampa

I came in with pain in my wrist and some area, the front desk. Desk was nice and the wait wasn’t too terrible, but when the actual doctor came in to examine me, she didn’t even touch my wrist at all. She did have me bend it a certain way and it did cause pain, so maybe that is all she needed? But it just seems odd that she didn’t want to double check and still look it over. Then she told me I needed a certain brace, didn’t give me any options just told me that a lady would be coming in to bring me the brace and then left. The lady came in with the brace and strapped it on my wrist and told me I was good to go, Again not informing me of prices or giving me any other options. Come to find out it’s a $90 brace! I could’ve gotten something similar on Amazon or at Walgreens for half of that. An

My daughter and I went to primary care to get her ear checked because she was having pain and the service we got was exceptional. Her nurse, Alexis went above and beyond to make my 3 yr old feel like a princess and made her smile the whole time. She calmed both of our nerves as I knew she might get a ear flush and wasn’t sure how my little one would handle it. She was so sweet with my daughter and when it was all done she asked her what her favorite color was and made her a bouquet of lollipops. It literally made me want to cry, I can’t thank her enough for her care and her amazing way with my daughter. Our doctor Andrea Stevens was so calming and reassuring to my daughter, they made a great team. Thank you so much!

Very Grateful for Dr. Giles. He works great with my other doctors and nutritionists. I love having a very caring, understanding, and wise DO who truly listens and cheers you on to better health. First we do as much as we can naturally and then if one day I need medication to further help my health, he is ready for that too. Thanks Dr. Giles!

I am so fed up! I visited Primary Health Medical Group Nampa yesterday for a blood draw—an experience that is already difficult for me due to having very small veins and a history of painful, unsuccessful attempts. I received my lab results today only to learn that my blood sample was **never tested** because Primary Health failed to send it to the lab within the required two-hour window. Instead, the sample was shipped to an out-of-state lab in Oregon—resulting in the test being cancelled entirely. As a result, I now have to repeat another distressing blood draw. It is required for me to not take my prescribed medication 12 hours prior to the blood draw and I now have to miss my medication an additional time to repeat the test, which carries serious risks for me. This facility kept finding excuses to turn me away. Day 1- “We don’t do drug screens after 5pm” Day 2- drug screen and TB test. *Two days later * We can’t read your TB test until 5:45 pm (because it’s too soon) but you can come back tomorrow before 5:45. They told me this on a Friday and I’m new to primary health so I barely made the cut off before close at 5pm. I explained to them that I work night shifts and that I couldn’t come back during the day because I needed to sleep before my next shift. I went to the urgent care in Caldwell and they read it and said that the nampa facility could have read it within the timeframe I went.. and being in healthcare as long as I have, I knew they could have.
