I am so thankful to have found Dr. Yakel and Sarah. Their office staff is amazing as well. After struggling for quite some time with back pain/nerve issues, Dr. Yakel took all the time necessary to sit and explain MRI findings and offered options. The most important thing was that they always made me feel that they were invested in getting me back to doing the things I wanted. I never felt like just a number. Having just gone through surgery this week, I can also say that the surgery process with them is top notch. I never got nervous because I trusted them completely. Truly, I cannot say enough positive things. 10/10 recommend them!

Dr.Yakel and his team are absolutely amazing. They are all very kind and helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you are very comfortable and understanding the patient care they are providing for you. My husband was referred to Dr. Yakel after going to the pain clinic in Sandpoint and having 2 injections. While the injection help a little he was still in pain everyday and couldn’t make it through the day without medication. My husband has always feared having any surgery on his back because of all the horrible stories he had heard about back surgeries. But after seeing Dr. Yakel for the initial visit he felt comfortable with going ahead with the procedure. Praise God he did because he woke up from that surgery pain free. We would highly recommend Dr. Yakel and his team. Thank you Dr.

I went to this DR seeking a second opinion. When I got to the staff for my first visit I told them I was in a car accident and that two insurance companies can be billed. The front desk had not faced this kind of issue so they had me wait for the Dr. The Dr talked to me for about 20 minutes about how he needs to be sure that he gets paid. I fully understand this. He suggested that my attorney get ahold of his attorney in order to better understand the situation. Then he suggested that there are a couple of tests that he would like to schedule if the attorneys come to agreement on the payment. I asked if I could get those tests scheduled while we wait for attorneys to do attorney things, and that I was in extreme pain so speed was important. He said that he could not in good conscience send

DrYakel is a Brilliant Surgeon and diagnostician! I finally feel like there is hope for me to have a functioning and high quality of life. He is compassionate and spends all the necessary time listening and giving different options for treatment during visits. Right now, after seeing him yesterday, all I can say is, God Bless Him!

I was referred to Dr. Yakel at Premier Spine and what a fantastic doctor he has been. His entire office was so patient, kind and caring. Dr. Yakel and Sarah spent extra time with me going over the MRI, detailing my options, with a no pressure approach. Honestly, I was scared to hear that I needed a “ back surgery “ but had such peace about it after their reassurance and treatment plan was thoroughly explained.
