Customer Reviews
I was sent to Point East through the Veterans Administration. I found the woman to be incredibly rude and condescending on the phone regarding working with the limitations of a disabled combat veteran. It took over a month, but I was finally able to book an appointment. I arrived to my appointment today a few minutes early to find the door locked. I was walking away assuming they were closed when the woman came to the door and opened it. I had been hitting a vape while headed back to the car, and she immediately went into a lecture on how she doesnt allow "smoking" because "she is very sensitive to smoke". Confused, I replied that I dont smoke, and obviously had no intention of smoking in her building... and her reply, verbatim, was: "What are you, stupid?" I wished her a good day and le
The lady who runs the desk has been very rude to a friend of mine who is a Veteran. Once while trying to book an appointment. Second time she was rude at the door while I was dropping him off out front. I feel the first impression before a massage should be relaxing. She seems tense and that doesn’t seem to be a good environment for anyone trying to relax at a place that specializes in veteran care.
As a veteran they tell you who you can get up massage from and I'm not into having a man giving me a massage so therefore as a veteran they told me they were not going to work with me and the only wanted a man to give him a massage I'm not into that never have been never will be I find out insulting. And they get paid by the government to do what they do from me. I would never recommend them just because of their attitude of choosing who I need to have give me a massage. I don't feel comfortable with a man touching me and never have and never will but apparently they feel this is acceptable they choose who they want and I don't like that I'm paying for the massage it's my choice.
The staff here are fantastic people, and super accomodating for schedule changes and appt issues. I'm a disabled man in his forties with some pretty severe pain issues, and I've been receiving acupuncture therapy here to help with pain issues. So far it's been working great, and I have found some relief from these visits. I appreciate that they're willing to text to setup appointments, as I live in an area with terrible cell signal, so texting is key. I'm working with them through the local VA and haven't had any issues at all with payment or paperwork. Lastly, they're very accommodating with even little things, like not taking my shoes off inside because it's hard to walk with my prosthetic legs without shoes on. One thing: some of my appts have been during off hours, outside of their po
It was wonderful. I wasn't sure what to expect. I just wish I had too many things on my mind to have my mind settled down. I am not good about quieting the mind very well. I for sure would go back.
