Mt Ascutney Hospital and Health Center: Acute Care

Have been in the past for recurrent dental infections and pain and normally they're great. This time however I was treated by a Dr. Rachel Spengler and was completely ignored when I tried correcting information she had wrong regarding my pregnancy and was not given the proper care because of it. Truly hope she learns to listen to her patients and not rudely walk out of the room when they have questions.

My husband came in with a broken rib. That happened from a house repair. They treated us coldly. Then when they confirmed he had a broken rib. Mind you he was in horrible pain. They wanted to know why he needed to stay home the next day. What was his duties. They acted and questioned us like we were junkies. Completely unprofessional and cold. There were 4 woman all sitting around. We were the only people there and it took them 3 hours to do nothing and send us home. He has a CDL license and won’t even take a Tylenol!! I understand the drug problem, but not all of us are like that!! I will tell everyone I know not to go here. They never once even took his vital signs!! None of them!!

All about getting insurance payments then abandoning patients. Unprofessional staff across departments. Do not send your family here if you care about them.

Had my first colonoscopy ever. I can’t say enough good things about MAH but the same day surgery, entire team, was phenomenal. Everything you could ever need to be comfortable and cared for is offered with professionalism second to none. After many procedures in my life this was hands down the best. Thank you MAH

Briant White, MD is amazing. Only complaint, they give O when patients are extremely stressed. Like going cold turkey. I have a DNR was told they don't honor those!!! OMG
