Always reach out to the Administrator of the building if you or your loved one is unhappy. Keeping in mind, they would much rather be home. Families feel terrible they can’t do it - stay positive, listen to their concerns and report it - so it can be addressed. Attention and love is primarily the key to a successful stay. Holidays are the toughest times.

If I could clone this place and move them closer, it would be great! Pleasantview took a chance on my dad and admitted him during the height of covid. This is the only place that would. We were really nervous about the placement because it is over 3 hours from home. We have always been very handson with dad and it was very nerve wrecking for him to be that far away. The team at Pleasantview has been like family. He loved his caregivers and still asks about them, I can tell they love him too. The facility is an older building and doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but the love and care provided inside is unmatched. We’ve had the best experience possible with our loved one that was placed at Pleasantview. The staff has gone above & beyond to get her placed and tending to her needs. She is always clean, dressed and very neat on our pop up visits. The building is well maintained, clean and free of odors. We are extremely pleased with her care.

Brought my Aunt to this facility not realizing that she would become like family to them in the end. I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff members at Pleasant View for taking care of my Aunt. While visiting her, I got the chance to watch the staff interact with each other and the residents and it was truly beautiful. Everyone was so helpful and the facility looked great and the customer service was more than I expected from “little ole Metter”. From the admissions process to the discharge process, I was WELL PLEASED!

My mother has been a resident of Pleasantview since 2019. At first, I felt she was in good hands, however, upon recent changes, I am so concerned for her safety that I a removing her from the facility. My mom's hemoglobin was so low she required a blood transfusion in June. The Dr on staff never prescribed an iron supplement and only had blood work scheduled every 6 months. Her blood was checked in November and hemoglobin was low then. Again, no iron supplement. By Christmas Eve her hemoglobin was so low she was in danger of cardiac arrest and was admitted to the hospital and given 3 units of blood. No one noticed she was short of breath, pale as a ghost, and winded from even standing. What were they planning to do? Wait until she died to check on her? There are several good nurses at the
