Pleasanton Animal Clinic

This is actually the worst vet I've been to, and I've been to several. The smell is nauseating and it doesn't appear that it is ever cleaned. Worse than that, the doc is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Instead of focusing on just treating our pet, she preferred to waste a lot of time judging us and yelling at us. She humiliated us, and in front of other customers as well, over a simple mistake. She also chose to talk about us to another customer, and then when I asked for an apology, she began to gaslight me and was incredibly nasty. The real icing on the cake is when we left that day, refusing to spend another dime there. I wanted his records printed, which should have taken a few seconds but instead she took 20 minutes to get them to us because they changed what was in the a

I’ve been taking my animals here for a few years and the Dr and staff have been great with them.

I had scheduled a wellness exam for my newly adopted dog, and then I ended up having to reschedule due to work. When I arrived, they could not find me or my pet in the system, and it turned out that whoever I had spoken with the second time hadn't actually rescheduled me. Disappointing, but not a huge deal. The young lady said they could still take me, since they weren't terribly busy. Once in the exam room, the vet and assistant were amazing. My dog is older and blind, they were gentle, comforting, knowledgeable, and were able to answer all the questions I had regarding his ongoing care with medication and such. I definitely will recommend this clinic to friends!

This place is a disgrace ! When I’ve made the mistake of taking my pets there, IT WAS DISGUSTING. Filthy and smelly !! I HATE having to drive by this place going home (I live off Airport Rd). The poor horses are in horrendous conditions. I’m haunted by seeing one of the hoses dead and all bloated up in the pen after the winter storm in January 2025. They have plenty of cover for the vehicles in back, but the horses are left to endure the heat/cold with no shelter. Also, when I did take my dog/cat to this place I ended up not be confident about the bogus diagnosis. Ended up going to the vet in Jourdanton (100% better) .
