Plantation Pediatrics

It bums me out to even leave this review but it just isn’t getting better. Paola is one of the rudest people I’ve ever talked to in this office. she REFUSED to hear me out on my son’s cold symptoms and quickly dismissed me to make an appointment. I just wanted some reassurance, and to confirm the over the counter medicine I’m giving him is the best I can be doing. she told me they “don’t do that” which is not true as I have gotten calls back from the nurse/doctor on duty in the past. she practically bullied me into making a doctors appointment as she wasn’t going to help me any additional way. she never even asked for my son’s symptoms, if he has a fever, his age, nothing. very rude. the way times at this office are horrible too.

I see the comments and I am in the same situation as several mothers, I moved to this office because my daughter's doctor moved to that office. She has been her doctor since my daughter was born. This office is terrible at customer service, from the poor aptitude they serve you at the front desk to the fact that they NEVER answer your calls. My daughter has surgery in October and I need to fill out some hospital paperwork with the doctor. After this unfortunately I will have to change doctors after 10 years. Dr. Maribel is an excellent doctor and this office is not for her. She is very competitive with her patients.

I have 4 kids that have been attending this practice for the past 15 years. It’s sad to see what a decline the office has been on over the last 3-4 years. All of the front desk personnel are terrible. No one answers phone calls, returns calls, or emails. And good luck trying to get a refill on medication… you have a better chance of winning the Lotto. I finally decided to try another Dr. office and I am so happy. Hope Dr. Sanchez gets some much needed help.

My kids pediatrician merged with this office. I have attempted to call multiple times and on different days to speak with anyone. Have yet to get past their recorded message. Just to fully understand what this place is about, I had time to kill and decided to see how long they would keep me on hold….I’ve reached 30 min thus far. I’m a healthcare professional myself. This would never be acceptable in my practice. So sad but it’s time to find someone else after 10 years with this doctor.

So disappointed and frustrated since my kids pediatrician merged with this practice. When you call, it goes to the main office in plantation, there is no direct way to call the Miramar hospital office, no one ever answers and the patient portal doesn’t work so I can’t even message through there. There’s no longer a way to book appointments online either. It’s very unprofessional and a joke. Wish KIDDYATRICS would have stayed as they were. Merging with plantation pediatrics was a huge mistake.
