Plantation Nursing & Rehab Center

My 98 year old Aunt was sent to this facility from the hospital for rehab. She received PT and OT every day as well as over all care under the guidance of the social worker, Simone. She was an outstanding asset for our family while my Aunt was there as well as transition Ally upon her release. We could all benefit from more people like her to aide and guide us during these stressful moments in our lives. The management always had quick response to any and all issues as well. Thank you all for the work you do

I was quite impressed with the cleanliness, ambiance, and responsiveness of the staff at Plantation Nursing and Rehabilitation Center during my visit to the Social Worker’s office. While in the hallway, every staff member I passed made me feel welcome with pleasant greetings and helpful gestures. Several team members even stopped to check that I was being taken care of. Their attentiveness truly stood out.

They didn't allow me to see my fiance anymore nor allowed me to know her condition. All this came after I said I wanted her out of there.They wanted me to prove our alliance to each other,of which I told them I had proof of,however, each call was ignored. This place may seem to be perfect,they make it seem as thus,but it's far from the truth. MY FIANCE HAD STOPPED EATING.Instead of feeding her intravenously,they fed her nothing.Is this our health care system at its best,I think not.

When my mom was admitted to the facility after surgery on the first night she was told they were going to put a pamper on her to do her business in the bed when she inquired about going to the bathroom. I was horrified because she is an independent woman that lives by herself. And they were asking her to poop and pee on herself. They took forever to come when the light goes on. The staff was not very friendly and the manager. I don't remember his name, but it's a male he knew nothing when you make inquiries, my mom's bypass got clotted the first week she got there because they were not given her the medication to thin her blood. It took the following day when I visited for mom to get her first pain medication. They told me it was not sent from the pharmacy as yet so she spent the night in

The staff at this facility made the stress of having a loved one in rehab less stressful. The social worker, Simone, kept me informed & was amazing at staying up to date on his progress. The nurses were very patient, caring & understanding. He was especially fond of Diana B., who always gave 100% to his care. The physical therapists were also fantastic & had him up and walking again faster than we expected. Thank you to all of the staff who took such great care of him!
