Pine Crest Health Care

Went to visit my uncle who is in the dump of a building for hospice. He is a Vietnam vet and VA actually thinks this place is ok for our heros. First off just pulling up you see how much of a dump it is. When you open the door the stench is overwhelming. It smells of piss and mold. Going up in the elevator you can smell it getting worse. Filth everywhere. My Uncles room is disgusting. The light was broken and instead of changing the florescent bulb it was taken out and leaning on the wall. Dangerous if it fell on the floor, they explode. There was puke on the wall by his head that wasn't from him. Curtains were ripped about 30 years old and hanging off the rod. The windows were so filthy you can't see through them. The window isn't even sealed to the wall. I had to ask for cleaning supplie

I'm so very grateful to Robin in admissions who went above and beyond to help me with placement for my husband when I wasn't able to get help from his Social worker,Nicki Excels at her job being very professional and kind to me and my son,Dave was also helpful and kind and patient when I called,again I thank Robin,if it wasn't for her helping me when no one else would,I don't know what I would have done, she has the sweetest,kindest heart and soul,I am happy with the care my husband received, everyone was always kind and helpful to us.

The outside looks like trash, screens busted. Inside is dirty, nuses are were stripper clothes. Equipment is dirty scratched up etc. Residents are dirty. No linen etc Shame on the state letting places like this stay open. People that own it should not sleep at night. I hope there loved ones will be at a place like this...

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! This is the worst facility I have ever experienced. My uncle was left sitting in a chair soiled for hours. Upon his expiration, his daughter was treated with no compassion nor empathy when she arrived to collect his belongings. She had to speak with multiple nurses and administration to attempt to retrieve the belongings only to find them in unmarked plastic bags in a hallway as if they were goodwill donations. I would not recommend that anyone leave their loved ones in the care of this facility. No respect nor empathy for grieving loved ones, you can only imagine what’s happening to residents when no one is looking.

Unfairly and involuntary discharged from this facility knowing that he doesn't have the means to take care of himself !!! Not accurately investigation the incident. Falsifying stories not once but twice . my husband is a quadriplegic and only able to move his neck and right hand was physically unable to cause bodily harm to anyone , Due to Mike the administrative director accurately investigating my husband as sent to the hospital with high census that had no available rooms he was been waiting in the hallway since Monday!!! This is the worst facility and definitely should be shut down and will be!
