Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

My mother went into this facility in March of this year. The general staff seems fine, although vomit was left on the floor from morning until evening at least once. My issue is with the administration. My mom had a stroke early in the morning of Good Friday. The week leading up to this I had called and left SEVERAL messages with the finance office and the social worker. I had questions about her medication and physical therapy. I never once talked to a doctor, I don't even know if they have an actual doctor. YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE A RETURN PHONE CALL. My mother died a week after her stroke. When I went to get her things several of her gowns were missing even though I did her laundry. I’d give less if I could, this place appears good and will tell you what you want to hear to get you to put your loved one there, then you’ll find out it was all a lie. Never can talk to people in charge they are always in a meeting or not there. I wouldn’t put my dog there

It seems like a very caring staff and it was really clean in there. It don't smell like other nursing homes does or retirement homes or other rehab places does.

My mom has been there for five days and the staff has been so helpful and welcoming to her as a resident, as well as to the family.
