Piedmont Urgent Care

We recently visited Piedmont Urgent Care in Eastman with both of our daughters being treated at the same time. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member was not very friendly or personable. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt because everyone has tough days, but first impressions matter in a healthcare setting. We were also required to complete two separate sets of registration paperwork, which felt redundant since both of my daughters were being seen during the same visit. Streamlining that process would make things much smoother for families. Once we were taken back, the nurse and PA were professional, attentive, and took the time to address my children’s needs thoroughly. Our experience was bad. I opted for a virtual visit because my husband’s doctor is closed on Friday’s and the hospital emergency room should be for emergencies only. We went to the urgent care because he had been before and was happy with the services we received well it wasn’t the case this time. There are only nurses there just plain everyday nurses. The doctor’s visit was virtual which is okay but still not like it would be if she was actually there. My husband’s foot is red and swollen and warm to the touch. I was concerned that it could be a blood clot because Monday he had a stent put in one of his arteries of his heart. The provider finally said she thought it was gout which he does have a history of. They problem for us was the wait was entirely to long. My husband became so angry

Satisfied with the care at this clinic. Excellent staff that was friendly and skilled. Physician took the time to listen to my concerns. I just wish that the waiting time in the exam room didn't have to be so long. Will use this clinic again if needed.

Visited this evening with my daughter who was diagnosed with the flu. The staff were quick to attend, courteous, and very caring throughout our visit! My family receives consistent, top notch care at every visit to this location.

The nurses and nurse practitioners were all nice and pleasant. The wait was kind of long but other than that I have no other concerns. When the NP (Derek) came in, I did not feel rushed and was able to explain to him what was going on. All tests came back negative so basically what I was worried about were all ruled out. Did not get a diagnosis but left with good instructions on how to deal with the symptoms. I would definitely go back if I ever feel under the weather.
