Piedmont Urgent Care

I booked my appointment online for the earliest time possible. I was seen less than 10 minutes after my arriving time. The staff were friendly, understanding, and quick. I spent an over all hr there only due to needing an x-ray. I did not have to wait too long for the results either. They gave me a diagnosis that I was emotionally satisfied with. The nurse even comforted me. The environment was clean and the front desk receptionist greeted me hello and good bye. Definitely recommend vs going to the ER.

Two hours after an “appointment” time and still waiting. Got called back over an hour after my ‘scheduled’ time and only when I asked and reminded them I was told 3 people ahead of me and had seen at least 5 people go back. My past experience at a Piedmont urgent was great; it was the Dallas location. Guess I’ll go to that one any time I need a quick “yep, the test came back positive, here’s you antibiotics”. 🙄 PS posting this AS I’m still here. It’s 5:51 pm (yes, an ADDITIONAL 10 minutes after I took the photo). Ending on a positive: I guess the only redeeming quality would be the triage nurse was nice.

My appointment was at 4pm. I arrived at 3:50. Completed all my paperwork online prior to arriving. When I arrived, there was only one person in the lobby and she was completing paperwork at the time. I was finally called to the the back at approximately 4:15 and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes before the doctor entered the room. I waited 10 more minutes for an x-ray that never happened because I actually left without the staff even noticing. After being gone for approximately 10-15 minutes, I received a phone call from the office saying they had come in the room looking for me in order to complete my x-ray. In my opinion, that's sad that they didn't notice I had left, especially considering they were not busy at the time I came in to be seen. So much for putting patients health

Arrived as a walk-in patient and was promptly registered. The site is conveniently located near I-20 on Chapel Hill. The office staff was courteous and professional. The medical staff was knowledgeable and efficient in their activities and actions. For those that may not receive ACA subsidies, this operation is likely going to be your first choice. I realize that everyone can't afford the current medical cost schedule. But if medical visits aren't a frequent occurrence, then it would be in your best interest to check them out.

I am new to the Georgia area and I wasn't sure where to go for my flu like symptoms, but after doing some research in my area, Piedmont Urgent care had great reviews! I went to Piedmont Urgent care and only waited 10 minutes. The ladies at the front desk were nice and prompt and the physician was also professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely go there again for my immediate medical care.
