Inprocessing simple and quick. Taken back for testing promptly. Michael the technician was fantastic. He filled me on what to expect, being thorough in his explanations. He did a fantastic job inserting the iv I barely felt the stick. The procedure went off without any problems and I was out the door in record time. Major compliments to the professionalism of the staff and the layout of the facility. Definitely two thumbs up.

My dad had an amyloid Pet Scan. EVERY ONE of the staff that helped with him was fantastic. From the check in to the scan. The staff was SO kind and patient with him. Brianna/Brionna not sure how it’s written was assigned to him. I can not say enough GREAT THINGS about her. She was precious.

Robert Schwabe - outpatient surgery 02/20/2026 - prostate biopsy with Dr. Byrne Very pleased with all aspects of the surgery. All staff were very pleasant, professional, and kept me informed as I went through the different stages and what to expect during recovery. Check— in was fast and all documents were prepared. Very short wait time going to pre-op. Nurse in per-op kept me informed during vitals and I-V prep and made sure I was comfortable. Anesthesiologist introduced herself and checked me over including asked a few questions. Dr. Byrne diss used the procedure and what to expect during recovery. I was then introduced to staff in the operating room and asked for my name date of birth and reason for surgery, which was done by all staff I met. Woke up in recovery room with staff monitor

I'm a retired RN. Today I had a chance to visit Piedmont Athen Region hospital. I was blown away at how moden this place is. The patient's room is very large, allowing plenty of room for guest and the medical staff. The dining hall was simply perfect and they served up an excellent breakfast. Every employee that I met was warm, friendly and helpful. I just couldn't get over how moden everything was and how all of the specialist and nurses interact with each other to provide a solid foundation for addressing the patient's needs. I've visited a few hospitals in my day, but this place clearly outranks them all. This place should be a showcase on how a hospital should be built and operated.

Efficient communication concerning appt change due to the ice storm. I was amazed at how easy it was to change my appointment. I appreciated the personal phone call that expedited my appointment change. On-line check in was efficient. The receptionist was friendly and answered my questions. My mammography tech, Hope, was most excellent. Attention to detail, redoing a scan when the measurements on an image did not match last year’s measurements and she was really good at checking on my comfort during the “gram”.
