Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Spartanburg

This is one of the worst facilities I've ever visited. They truly deserve NO STARS due to lack of cleanliness, smell, and lack of support for patients and visitors. First of all there's no parking available for visitors. There's no sign directing out of town visitors or locals which door to enter. I walked in through the memory care unit, in which the doors should always stay locked, it wasn't. I walked in, yes a sign was present but not in a manner acceptable for visitors telling you DO NOT ENTER, with the alarm blazing. Those doors should always remain locked on both sides due to safety issues. The young lady did rush out explaining where I should go, however that wasn't much better. No one was at the front desk (if you'd call it that) to give directions on where my family member was lo

This nursing home is absolutely atroious and should be shut down. From the moment you walk in, the entire building reeks of urine, feces, vomit, and a strong, lingering stench that never goes away. This is not a temporary smell — it is embedded in the walls, the floors, the furniture, and the air itself. It is overwhelming, nauseating, and completely unacceptable for a facility that is supposed to care for elderly and vulnerable people. My grandfather was left lying in a filthy bed, wearing dirty, soiled clothes that staff is supposed to clean and change. The room was disgusting. There were crumbs, food debris, and empty chip bags left on the floor, clearly not cleaned for an extended period of time. These conditions directly caused a roach infestation, which staff seemed completely unbot

I've never been so disgusted with a place. The lack of care is honestly pathetic. As many of the reviews have already stated, the facility smells awful. The smell punches you in the face the minute you walk in. And maybe it's not all, but a majority of the workers are negligent. They actively ignore the nurse call buttons, even though they're all standing around the nurses station chatting. My relative cried and screamed in pain to the point where she called me to let me know. So I decided I'd call to try to get her help, but no one answered the phone. There's several other incidences that have also occurred, and based on the review of others, this place should have been shut down a long time ago. This facility is ran better than the other one that I was at but the doctor here sucks. In and out of your room maybe 2 minutes tops. I like for my stuff to be organized but I went into the hospital 24 days so they threw my stuff in bags and changed my room. The room change isn't too bad because my roommate is really sweet but it is 3 am and she is usually snoring but she is talking.what really sucks is that I can't get anyone in here to help me organized imy stuff. What is even worse than that is when I was in the hospital I got a bed bath. Just one. I have been out of hospital since Saturday here it is Thursday Christmas day I am supposed to shower today but everyone has an excuse. Today I was informed that my family member was left wet in the lobby . Now a distance cousin made a complaint in person, because this person was there and apparently got very upset. However he didn't recall the incident. Now I have not personally witnessed this. This place has it's moments but I can't report it until I see it. I have contacted you over the years about different matters. And they got fixed in time. My family member is getting out of bed now so that's what he wants.
