Five stars is not enough! Dr. Bauman is an extraordinary doctor in every way. As a professional dancer, injuries and recoveries are par for the course. Dr. Bauman is not only an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon, he is also a dance medicine specialist. His brilliant understanding of the body is hyper nuanced and unparalleled. Dr. Bauman is the best in New York. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to ever operate on me, whether I was a dancer or not! I have successfully recovered from two surgeries thanks to Dr. Bauman’s healing hands—he is a master surgeon. Dr Bauman is an amazing dr. His skill as a surgeon is only outweighed by his kindness and patience. He helped me recover from a career-ending injury and has spent countless hours and endless care answering my questions and helping me through this crazy process. While it’s true that you may wait in the office, the wait is worth it. I am/was a professional dancer, aerialist and stunt woman and thanks to Dr Bauman I’m still able to walk and have a physical life. He is an amazing person. Go to him if you need help.

Dr. Bauman is the only Orthodpedic surgeon many of us at Lincoln Center would ever call! He is truly brilliant. There is nothing he has not seen and repaired/ replaced / worked a miracle on/ when it comes to an injured joint ! He remembers my case clearly, and has performed 3 surgeries for me,-all successful and kept me working without pain !
