Perfect Smile Dental

Been going to Perfect Smile for years. Staff is very nice and I love the small business feel. Front Desk is informative and lets me know what my insurance covers (Delta Dental). Even when I received my explanation of coverage from my insurance and asked why the 2 cavities have different co-pay she explained that billing codes are different for different locations of cavities. Will keep coming here for life.

**Review for Perfect Smiles** I had a very unpleasant experience at Perfect Smilesin Salinas CA.During my visit, one of the dentist's gloves fell on the floor( the main doctor ) , and to my shock, he still used it. Additionally, they informed me that my insurance only covered black fillings, not white, which was bizarre. This led me to decide not to make another appointment. At the end of my visit, the receptionist was acting very strange. She called Marisol, the dental assistant, and I overheard Marisol saying she would call me later to schedule another appointment. Then the receptionist bizarrely asked, "What about the one dollar?" It felt like they were trying to scam me for just $1, even though my insurance covered my X-rays. Waiting almost 2 months for an appointment .The staff at perfect smile wanted me to pay out of pocket for a procedure that Central Coast Alliance covered. When I told them I don’t have cash on me right now they said to go to the bank and get it if not wait another month for an appointment. On my way to the bank I called CCA and they told me that they cover it and they don’t know why would they charge me. I get back to Perfect Smile and the lady at the Desk starts YELLING at me saying to get out of there and that they can’t help me because I called Central Coastal Alliance.

Please stop trying to scam people out of their money. The wife does the billing and tried to say our insurance did not cover the work. Then proceeded to say that she can give us a discount if we pay cash. She refused to give paperwork that explains the charges. When we asked for the treatment plan with dental codes. She got irritated and stated they don't give those out. I called my insurance and verified that I am covered for the root canals/crowns. 7k for 2 root canals/crowns and 2 fillings. But you can give me a discount if I pay cash right? Already got my teeth fixed at another dentist.

My family and I have been with Dr. Murad for few years now and our experience with this clinic is just amazing! Very professional doctor and very nice staff. Not only does he do perfect job but also he is honest about what your teeth really need or don't need. This dental clinic always exceeds my expectations.
