People First Urgent & Primary Care - Southaven

Care was top tier, I was there literally less than an hour tops. The front desk young lady was very helpful, seeing as this was my first time there. From start the young lady triaging me was very kind and respectful. She was very well articulated and got me worked up really fast. As I stated before they are thorough and fast. The nurse flushed my eye out and did a small procedure that showed I had a corneal abrasion. Before the procedure she was upfront and told me that this wasn't going to feel the best but it would tell her if I had any scratches on my eye. She was so gentle and sweet and had great bedside manner. She listened to my concerns and even me ranting on about being a cat lover. I will definitely come here again and will definitely recommend them to all of my family and friends

Wonderful attentive experience. I heard great things but to experience great prompt treatment was something I had not experienced in a long time since losing my last PCP. I felt heard, respected, and cared for. I’m so grateful that I came here because my last provider failed horribly. To get treatment this fast was breathtaking and refreshing. recently visited your facility for the first time yesterday. We had a severe snowstorm here in the Memphis, Tennessee area, and I had been essentially shut in for several days while dealing with excruciating pain from what appeared to be a pulled muscle and/or a pinched nerve. I called your facility once you opened, and the young woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and helpful. However, when I arrived, I was told that my Mississippi Medicaid plan was not accepted. I contacted several other facilities and was told the same thing, which highlights a larger issue many of us are facing—being unable to access medical care quickly when we truly need it. This was our first time visiting Dr. Vivek’s office for our annual check up, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. I am extremely sensitive and scared of needles, and usually have zero tolerance when it comes to blood draws, but the nurse/phlebotomist here was truly amazing. She drew my blood in one puncture, and I honestly didn’t even feel it. She was gentle, confident, and clearly very skilled. I loved her and really appreciated how comfortable she made me feel. Clean environment, nice appearance, service was very slow. I was the only patient and stilled had to wait 15 minutes before nurse practitioner came in the room. Went an hour later to pick up prescription just to find out that it hadn’t been called in, so now I have to wait til tomorrow to get meds I need.
