Penn State Health Pediatric Specialties

Had the worst time here with the my 5 month old baby who is 3 months adjusted. He’s been having weight issues and all, they completely ignored everything I had to say and did nothing to help him after being there for a whole week to what? Just get insane medical bills?! Do NOT RECOMMEND them at all. Staff is also incredibly rude and neglectful. I have a lot of proof of what they put us through too :) Hope they like my complaint. Never going to them again for anything.

My son has been a patient here since he was 3 years old. So for the past 13 years we have had a good experience up until now. Since they moved from there old office across the street to this office they are not as efficient or caring. My son is a type 1 diabetic and everyone used to understand the importance of getting things done quickly for him. I have been waiting 16 days for a simple form to be filled out to help with his medication and they have no urgency to do it. Worst part is they know without his medication he will get very sick or die but still show no urgency. They have gone from the best pediatric endocrinologist to the worst and became very uncaring.

They have always taken good care of my family. It can be hard to get appointments, but I feel like that means my Dr is busy and good at his job. I have no complaints as they have kept my kids alive and well. Also when having trouble with the insurance they had a mediator call to figure it out for me.

After waiting almost 3 months for the "first" appointment, I took my mother for her long awaited appointment where we were kept waiting an hour to be called back to a room before we left. I have to say Crystal, from registration was very good, she checked multiple times for us to see what the holdup was. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We have been seeing Dr. Huerta for about four years for my daughter's thyroid issues. She is the absolute best doctor we have had this far! She is kind, sweet, and so understanding. My teen loves her
