I brought my 7 year old son in for an appointment after he has had a severe rash covering his arms for 8 months. We waited nearly 2 months for this appointment, drove an hour, and I canceled work to be there. Dr. Green looked at the rash for only a few seconds, did not provide a diagnosis, and suggested a stronger version of a steroid medication we already tried months ago with no improvement. When I asked for biopsies, cultures, or any diagnostic testing to determine what was actually causing the rash, he dismissed the idea entirely. He stated a biopsy “wouldn’t tell us anything” and that he didn’t believe a culture would grow anything — without attempting either. Just wanted to come here to say that all the people who helped me with my Mohs surgery and subsequent plastic surgery were wonderful. Dr. Travelute, Dr. Samson, Allison, all the nurses, nurses aides, and front desk (Michael). Everything explained, all questions answered, very thorough, friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because I haven’t seen the bill yet. Lol.

Waited 11 months for an appointment only to have it cancelled for “weather” even though all the roads were clear. When I called to reschedule I didn’t imagine they would say another 10 months, not until the fall. Who can wait 2 years to see a derm? Completely unacceptable, offices keep slots for emergencies, you don’t think you would reschedule someone who just waited 11 months a little sooner than 10 more months out? HORRIBLE customer service. Run away. Lancaster has better dermatology anyway. I certainly will be going somewhere else.

I've been a patient for 6 years now with a severe skin disorder. The only reason I continue to go is because its the only place my insurance accepts. I have routine appointments every few months and things are just going downhill. Office managers openly yell at office staff in the waiting area while patients are watching. I get the bare minimum treatment for my skin disorder, even after advocating I'll pay for things out of pocket. I think I've done more research on HS than they have the past few years, and when I bring up a new idea to try, its pushed to the side. I've wasted hours of my time and giving my body to the research department, with little to no compensation, and other hospitals are doing better in HS research anyways. Schedule an appointment in July 2024 for June 2025. Check in went great, nurse came in normal routine. Waited 45 mins because maybe they were busy. As I’m sitting in a room they called me because they were looking for me and thought I left. Never came back to check or say hey we are behind or whatever it was. Somehow my chart was moved. I called spoke to a manager they apologized still waiting to get another appointment to another office.
