Peninsula Nursing and Rehabilitation

This review has been long over due. I don’t even know where to begin. My brother was almost killed by a car and suffered multiple injuries to his body. When he got to peninsula, he couldn’t walk a month or so later he walked out of there. Amazing and caring rehabilitation center. The staff were compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to my brother’s recovery. The rehab team is simply AMAZING!! The environment is welcoming, encouraging, and focused on healing. I highly recommend this rehab center to anyone seeking quality care for a TBI survivor. We couldn’t have chose a better place.

My Grandmother has been a resident here for 8yrs. The staff is friendly, every time I visit my grandmother is smiling and engaged in activities. She always talk about how much food they give her. Always clean. Security super friendly, greets everyone. To walk into a place and be greeted with a smile is everything and that’s what Península staff do. My grandmother was sick, Ems was called. I was notified with promptness. She went to the nearest hospital for two days and released with great health at the age of 91years old. Some people have different experiences, as for myself and my grandmother at this facility I highly praise all of their efforts, their attentiveness, to care for the elderly and disabled is not an easy job. It is always a good thing when you’re well received anywhere. On my end, whenever I visit my loveones at the Peninsula it has always felt welcoming. From the entry door way to my first attraction with the receptionist all the way to the occupied room. The place is clean and the staffs that I encountered with are always friendly. My experience is not important, I’m hoping that all the residents shares my experience because they’ve the ones who truly mattered . As per my Loveones experiences so far I have not gotten any real complaints, the little stuffs they’re complaining about are stuffs you will found everywhere and because I’m not there daily can’t confirm . The lady at the front desk was pleasant and informative. The nursing home was very clean. The social worker Lynn was helpful. This place is a wonderful place for residents to get care.

This is not the first time my live one has stayed orchid I say received care at the peninsula. Overall I gave it 4 stars because I know everyone over there is doing their best . What I would like to see and soon is for the government to upgrade the residents beds and to add an additional mental health room for the residents and the nurses that has so much to do plus their personal. Remember the residents are away from home their comfort zone and churches plus communities how can we bring them some more joy and adaptation. Mental health activities room where partial will be for the nurses and partial for the residents because physical therapy is great but without the mental they will not achieve their full recovery.
