Oceanview Nursing Home

Even though the building is a little on the aging side, all the staff is very friendly and helpful. My parents had a very good experience. and everyone is very accommodating to all the needs of the patient. I recommend.

The staff was very professional and attentive to my needs. They have activities and parties including birthdays for residents. They serve kosher food and observe all calendar holidays to keep spirits up.Inclufing St Patrick's Day. They even accommodate smokers. My experience was pleasant when I left I felt like I was leaving part of my family. It's not a super large facility so we all got to know each other fairly well.so the ones who can't do anything for themselves get the attention they need to ea,t bathe and go out for some air. I had a pleasant time there.

Great place. My mom has been here just over three weeks and I'm relieved. The staff ensures that she's showered, her hair is combed, she's eating, and has even gained some weight. The staff is friendly and keeps me informed with what is happening with my mom. Love this place.

My mom has been at Oceanveiw rehab from December 2 2024 and just came home on May 1st 2025. I have to say I was a little skeptical and nervous at first, but it was the best decision I've made for my mom so far we are going through this horrible disease dementia. The staff were excellent to her and to my family when we visited. The managers and social workers helped me tremendously. I am leaving Oceanview nursing home today and I want to say a few words about my stay here. The words are already clear to me because I've used them to describe the facility to others. first I recommended it to a friend as a workplace because I'm sure she would love working here. All the staff are really caring and make it such an amazing place to be. I would describe the building as almost pretty- thinking of the trees in the courtyard and the patio area. Now let me concentrate on Oceanview and what I assume is a unique feature. It's the "Concierge" on staff- his ready availability and eagerness to help, and the implications of that function.
