I’m very disappointed to learn that Dr. Pedro Llaneza’s office does not accept my Medicare insurance plan (Doctors Healthcare Plans). I’ve been a patient of Dr. Llaneza for over 20 years and have always trusted and appreciated his care. After recently retiring and transitioning to Medicare, I was surprised to find out that I can no longer continue seeing him due to insurance limitations. While I understand insurance participation is a business decision, it’s disheartening to lose continuity of care after such a long doctor–patient relationship. I hope the office considers expanding accepted plans in the future for long-standing patients. Terrible office staff. Office personnel do not know what are they doing. I called February 2nd to schedule an appointment they ask for my insurance information and my personal information they told me they accepted my insurance. Called my primary doctor for a referral my primary physician called the insurance company for an authorization they had everything. Today Feb 23 when I came the office for my consultation after I fill out my personal information and insurance inf. an office rep told me they did not take my insurance. What😱 what a disappointed. No body from the office verified my insurance They told me that the person that made my appointment was new. Wow

I want to complement Dr. Llaneza and his staff. Dr. Llaneza takes time to explain the procedure and what can be uncovered, i.e polyps, diverticulum, cancer etc. This is my second colonoscopy with him. An excellent doctor and true professional. I highly recommend him. His staff is also very professional and caring.
