Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Virginia

I have been taking my kids PDOVA for over 20 years, my kids have grown up going to see Dr. Lubbe and Dr.Bridges. Highly recommend them to anyone with children. My 4th child has just had her braces removed. All of the staff are welcoming and make the entire family feel comfortable with any and all dental and or orthodontic services.

We had a Phase II consult today for my 13 year old at Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Virginia. When he began Phase I on 5/17/23, we paid $5,995 and were told that doing treatment in two phases would not cost more than doing a full set of braces all at once. We followed their recommendation based on that. Fast forward to today—they quoted Phase II at $4,300. I asked what a full set would cost if we started now, and they said $7,000. So… why are we being charged a total of $10,295 for a two-phase treatment that was supposed to cost the same as one full set? ----------- While I appreciate the explanation, we were told from the beginning that my son’s phases would not cost more than a single full set. Love PDOVA and the entire Colonial Heights staff! They completed my oldest son's braces(which was lots of work and 3 sets)! My youngest son just got his taken off after a year and a couple months! They are professional and very pleasant! They also keep you fully informed throughout the entire process! The end results were exceptional for both my boys!

My kids have had a great experience here. The staff is patient, gentle, and really good at helping children feel comfortable. The dentists and orthodontists explain everything clearly and take their time, which I appreciate. The office is clean, organized, and runs on schedule.
