Pediatric Dental Care of Rhode Island

The staff and Dentist always do their best to make my kid’s experience as comfortable as possible. They talk through anything scary and take time to answer all questions. Pam is an awesome hygienist!

My children are 19,17 and almost 9 years old and I been coming here since my oldest was 7 or 8 years old. This is a great dentist for kids. My son who is also autistic would not let any dentist touch his teeth but once we came here there was no problem.

My two kiddos have been going to PDC for years now, I have no complaints, we really love the atmosphere. I just truly wish they were more compassionate when it comes to time, I was 7 minutes late for my app. & as I was pulling into the lot Jenny had told me it was just too late. I understand everyone is running on a timely manner, it just was awful to rush so much just to get a no on my daughter’s filling. So I left the parking lot feeling ridiculously discouraged. We live pretty far and I can’t control how bad construction is and I called prior to give the heads up, I just never encountered anything like this. Definitely looking for a new dentist for my kiddos.

Always a great experience!! All the staff is friendly and welcoming and make my son feel so comfortable, which had made him not mind going to the dentist!!

We’ve been to our share of pediatric dentists in RI. We’ve had ok experiences and not ok experiences. The reason I reached out to PDC of RI is because of what I heard and read on Dr Hencler. My youngest (4) was nothing short of literally traumatized by an experience we had. The experience was due to a multiple reasons. She has now mentioned at least once a day she’s never going back. I somehow tricked her into giving Hencler a shot and I’m so glad it worked out. All the staff was AMAZING. The other patients even seemed to add positive happiness to the atmosphere. My little one didn’t have anything done just yet but I now trust it’ll be a MUCH easier process. Update- she’s now 7. We remain patients at this practice. She still has alot of dental anxiety but the staff here know just what to
