Pediatric Associates Palmetto Bay

Front office staff is amazing. Medical assistant Chana did a great job taking my vitals. Dr. Lopez helped me so much highly recommend. I Highly recommend Palmetto Bay. Place is very clean, well managed and all employees are nice and always give me a great experience.

Every time I bring my youngest son to this doctors its always a problem you cant get checked in 15 mins early , you cant come without an appointment. Even if your child is sick , wait time is always long regardless if you have a appointment, staff does not look happy, overall its just always an unpleasant experience and ive been here multiple times without leaving any negative reviews but today was just the tipping point

I had a very concerning experience with a pediatrician at this location. After learning that my junior high-aged child was exploring a different name and gender identity, the doctor — in front of my child — asked if we would be interested in exploring hormonal therapy to assist with transitioning. I felt this suggestion was not only inappropriate and premature, but also presented in a way that felt pushed on me, rather than offered as part of a thoughtful or collaborative conversation. It put me in an extremely uncomfortable position to respond in front of my child, without having had any prior discussion or time to consider where I personally stand on this issue. So while my son had an annual visit and everything was great days later we needed to call about coming in for a sick visit. This pediatricians office does not have a walk-in option if your child is sick. That means you have to go to urgent care or MinuteClinic but not your doctor. I think that’s ridiculous. Why should you have to trust somebody you don’t know. They need to work on this.

Terrible the wait times are insane you will have an appointment at a certain time and wait over an hour to be seen. They are expanding to have more office rooms for patients which doesn’t even make sense bc they only have 2 doctors so wait times would be even worse. The doctors also don’t know what they are doing and will waste ur time and ur money as u will have to pay co pay everytime u come to this establishment. I’m never coming back here I hate this place
