Pediatric Associates Fernandina Beach

Dr and staff was great but the office is DIRTY! Have been taking my children there for 16 years and the cleanliness has really gone downhill, dirty floors, dust clump hanging off the upper cabinets and bugs in the lower cabinets (son opened from boredom). Also the overall feel of the office is no longer cozy or kid friendly, the paint is peeling and it just looks tired. Needs a good cleaning and paint job.

Took my son in today for his 18 month wellness visit. 30 minutes before we got into a room but that was okay, the problem was the young MA. She wasn’t very attentive . Acted like she was in a rush & honestly looked as if she was having a bad day! She gave my son his shots & put the bandaids nowhere near his injection site which then caused blood to get on his shorts. As always Nancy was great & our favorite is Mary white ❤️ & front staff was great also !! New girl training was very polite !

I have been waiting for over a month on an existing speech referral. There's a disconnect between the office and the referral department. Someone at the top needs to look into this office. My child is missing speech therapy because they are taking their time to send the referral to the insurance company. It has never taken this long before.

This office failed my son in every possible way. He was diagnosed with strep, running a 101° fever for three days, and yet his antibiotic prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. After waiting in the Publix drive-thru for 20 minutes, I was told no prescription had been received, by them or any other Publix location. Nearly five hours later, nothing had been sent. For a child clearly ill and needing treatment, that lack of urgency is unacceptable. The errors started with the medical chart itself, which was documented incorrectly. When I called in desperation before the office closed, the call center rep admitted she couldn’t even find an antibiotic listed in the chart.
