Pediatric Associates Brickell

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most unprofessional and incompetent doctors office I have ever experienced. I made an appointment for a virtual visit for my sick child and the doctor never showed up for the visit. I spent over an hour on the phone talking to multiple receptionists and nobody was able to help me reschedule this appointment or even reach the doctor that was supposed to join my appointment. They kept transferring me to different departments and wasting my time. Highly unprofessional staff and super unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and do not go here.

The doctors take their time to explain everything clearly and make sure both the child and parents feel comfortable. The office is clean, organized, and appointments always run smoothly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a caring and professional pediatric team!

Took my son in and asked them to test him for type 1 diabetes. Staff made light of my request and told us it was just sore throat. Came back a week later asking again. The nurse with the long hair trolled us and thought we were crazy. I insisted and finally managed to check his blood levels. Turns out my son was in severe ketoacidosis bcs of type 1 diabetes and ended up staying at the ICU for one week. Could have been avoided if they listened to us the first time instead of being condescending. Bottom line: incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. Please dont take your kid here. Dont believe all the fake 5star reviews.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the patient experience at the Brickell location of Pediatric Associates. For a scheduled 7:45 AM appointment, the medical staff did not arrive on time, and the physician was an hour and a half late. The excessive two-hour wait time is unacceptable, as was the flippant response from the staff when we raised the issue. The practice's operational standards are severely lacking, and I would advise others to seek care elsewhere to avoid similar issues with punctuality and professionalism.

Rudest Billing person! I went for an appt, they thought I had insurance and billing me insurance rates of $700 for a regular well visit which is supposed to be around $150. Lequisha from Billing called me demanding $700 and could not understand what i was saying, then said "i'm just gonna comment refusal to pay" and hung up. I called the office and the person answered recognized that is not the correct amount but said billing has to adjust and transferred me but billing never answers.
