Pedi-Q Urgent Care

So thankful for pedi q! My 2 year old son needed his first stitches today and Ryan was amazing! He walked me through every step of the process and made sure that my son was at ease the entire time. His work was flawless and he made a scary time much easier. Alycia the medical assistant was also wonderful!! I’ve taken my daughter here before and have had good experiences but this was the first time for an injury and I can’t recommend them enough.

I was there last night with my 4 year old daughter who was screaming bloody murder about some pain she was in, She has a very bad history of UTI’s and a recent surgery a year ago to help with this issue. I called at 7:15pm when all of this started with her, and I asked what time they were open until and what time they stopped seeing patients, They told me 8:30. Perfect, I got there at 8. They knew we were coming. We felt so rushed with the pregnant nurse/doctor, I don’t know what she was. She told me we had 30 minutes to get a urine on my daughter and have it tested. If we couldn’t get it in 30 minutes we would have to leave and go to the ER. Mind you, my daughter is still screaming louder than I’ve ever heard her, in pain. Very clean facility and a very efficient experience. Our precious 6 month old baby has developed a cold and after spending about 15 minutes there, 12 minutes later we are picking up medicine at CVS then home resting. Thank you for helping us.

I’m writing this review with deep anger and heartbreak. Pedi Q Urgent Care turned away my 4-year-old niece — a child in need of medical attention — simply because her mother doesn’t speak English. Let that sink in: a little girl was denied care at an urgent care facility because of a language barrier. This wasn’t just a misunderstanding. The front desk staff made no attempt to help, no effort to understand, no compassion whatsoever. Instead, they dismissed a scared mother and her sick child as if they didn’t matter — as if they weren’t worthy of help. It was cold, cruel, and completely inexcusable. Every visit to this facility has been seamless and incredibly helpful. Having an urgent care specifically designed for children is such a relief, as it makes addressing health concerns so much easier. The environment is thoughtfully created to ensure children feel comfortable, with a waiting area filled with engaging toys for various age groups, some books, a little playhouse, and Disney movies to keep them entertained. The convenience of nearby restrooms and water access adds to the thoughtful design. The staff consistently demonstrate exceptional care and professionalism, going above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere.
