I owe my life to Dr. Woo, who helped me rid me from cancer (free 2 yrs now) and although I have a soft voice now (my wife says she hears me loud &clear) thank god. Dr.Woo understood my wants & my reluctance to get a full laryngectomy and he knew it was important for me to try another way. So with his expertise, knowledge and skills he helped me find that way. I am now back to work and speaking without any complications and I will always regard him as the best in his field! I know when I come in for any follow-ups I'm in the best of hands. He has changed my life for the better. I was intubated and was in an induced coma for 42 days and when they took out the trach it damaged my vocal cords and now with my ongoing speech therapy and I’ve had huge progress. He’s very understanding about my situation so he allows me to voice record his thoughts that way I can relay to my speech language pathologist. I highly recommend him I’ll be seeing him in December to further discuss some things . Oh and the doorman is such a sweet man and extremely empathetic and helpful 🙂

Dr. Woo is the #1 most skilled diagnostician of vocal pathologies in New York City. He has an expert eye and experience that others simply do not. After seeing multiple "top" voice doctors at NYU and Weil Cornell for unexplained vocal weakness and fatigue (I am a professional opera singer), I was left with zero answers, hundreds of dollars in bills, and suggested only to work with their speech pathologists to work on my vocal technique---and shell out more money. I was referred by an old colleague to see Dr. Woo. Within one minute of my laryngeal scope with Dr. Woo he diagnosed me with a unilateral vocal cord paresis. I had an injection and it all but saved my voice. Dr. Woo is the real deal.
