Peachtree Immediate Care - Woodstock

My husband and I visited this urgent care to have my husband checked for possible pneumonia. We absolutely fell in love with Dr. Phil, he is amazingly thorough and great bed side manner. But as we don't have insurance and paying out of pocket he was very mindful of that and didn't try to bump up the bill running unnecessary tests. My husband was so impressed he wanted him as our primary care doctor. Just a word of advice to other patients, the initial cost was $250 but for those that need an xray or few specific blood tests those were included. Which can make the over all cost much cheaper than other urgent care facilities. Just call in advance to see which tests are included. Easy to get great medical care. The staff, professional and nice. They took time to understand what my issue was, assessed it and I was on my way back to home. Shout out to the front desk team. They took care of my paperwork and made me feel welcome.

Took a family member here when she could not get ahold of her doctor for an issue that needed immediate attention. We both were impressed. She had no issues making an appointment for later that morning and she was ushered back to the exam room less than 10 minutes after we arrived. The waiting room was quiet and clean; the check-in staff were efficient and friendly. All of her insurance paperwork was submitted electronically when she made the appointment and the only thing she had to do when we checked in was to show her insurance card and ID. She was very happy with the doctor who examined her. He listened to her concerns, answered all of her questions, and ordered the appropriate tests. I had pnemonia a couple of years ago and it was horrible! I started coming down with a bad cough recently and was worried it might be the start of that again so I came here for a check up. I'm so glad I did! All of the nurses were sweet and professional. There was no one in the waiting room and they took me back quickly to do some swabs. My nurse put my mind at ease and was apologetic about the wait because they were caring for an emergent patient. I really appreciated the communication and care! A few minutes later, Dr. Adam came in and was super understanding and caring. He put my mind at ease and gave me advice and medicine to get me feeling better. I highly recommend this urgent care! It's Clean, lovely nurses and Dr, and quick wait time!

I was out of town and had a migraine so I visited here perfectly fine visit. Until they billed my insurance $500 for being a “new patient”. Unreal. Welcome to healthcare in America I guess. Pretty sleazy. Unfortunate because I was telling my friend who lives in the area about how good of a visit it was. If you have a high deductible plan, skip this place and go somewhere else. I’ve never been charged that much for an urgent care visit and it’s 100% the bogus “new patient” upcharge.
